Trans Empowerment Project
The Trans Empowerment Project was founded in 2016 by Jack Knoxville. It started in Tennessee, and is now based in North Carolina. The Trans Empowerment Project is a national organization and serves the whole country.The Trans Empowerment Project is a non-profit organization that aims to empower the marginalized community of trans people, specifically disabled trans people and trans people of color by providing direct aid, employment education, inmate advocacy, and other resources.Some of their different programmes include: inTRANSitions (direct aid of food, clothing and gender affirming accessories, hrt, toiletries), Inmate Advocacy Project (care packages and penpals), Trans employment project (employment education and support), and Take Back the Narrative (trans storytelling).Donations allow the Trans Empowerment Project to support and uplift the trans community. Bay Area Legal Services
Bay Area Legal Services was founded in 1967.They are a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to low-income residents in the Tampa Bay Area. They aim to assist individuals and nonprofit groups with limited access to legal services, resolve the legal problems of their clients and preserve the independence, hope, and dignity of those they serve.They provide legal services regarding: COVID-19, housing, family and children, abuse and safety, veterans, self-help resources, benefits and health, debt and taxes, disaster relief, nonprofit and small businesses, wills/estates, expungement, name change and licenses.Donations allow Bay Area Legal Services to provide free legal services to those that need it. I Support The Girls
I Support the Girls was founded in 2015. They have 53 affiliates across the US and 5 globally. Our local affiliate is in Tampa Bay.I Support the Girls is a non profit organization that collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, to women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress.They have several programs such as the Affiliate Network (allowing ISTG to connect with people across the world), ASH [Aid, Safety, Hygiene] Kits (customizable care packages), Disaster Relief Program (aid to areas affected by natural disasters), and Force for Change (advocacy and partnerships with a variety of communities).Donations allow I Support the Girls to help women with needs that are often neglected.
